Panhandled
by Brendan Gall
|
Robert Kingston as "Peter"
Directed by Christopher Stanton
Set and Lighting Design by Patrick Beagan
Performed at St. Vladimir Theatre, Toronto, in January 2004. |
|
Peter gets up every day, goes to work,
then comes home and goes to sleep. He certainly didn’t spend his childhood
dreaming that one day he might be in insurance – but he does what he has
to do to get by. As Peter says himself, “It’s called Living In The
Real World! It’s called Making Sacrifices!” But something happened
to Peter last night. Something very, very bad. |
