Since 2004, UnSpun Theatre has been creating entertaining, award-winning work that consistently challenges audiences and stretches the boundaries of the current English-Canadian theatre tradition.

Past works such as Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, Thy Neighbour's Wife, Don't Wake Me, Minotaur, and The Tin Drum have been heralded as "marvelously executed," "striking," "compelling," and "full of dramatic magic."

UnSpun Theatre is also proud to consistently play a key role in building the careers of emerging artists. Just take a look at our creative team. You'll see a group of fiercely talented up-and-comers. A new generation of theatre artists who are creating great work, and a lot of buzz.

However, making theatre ain't cheap. (Especially here at UnSpun, where the company creates innovative work requiring extensive rehearsal and gestation time.) It takes artists' time and it takes funding.

Some of our funding comes from grants and foundations. Some of it comes from ticket sales.

But a lot of our funding comes from individual donors who love live performance and want to see independent Canadian theatre thrive.
