Always courageous and strong

A heart

bursting with love

Strong feelings of joy and acceptance

With the question

of is this enough

It’s hard not to compare ourselves

with what we think we see

In others

But to remember

they are illusions

Like what’s through a window

Behind the shutters

And what may appear

to offer more

by the presence of a sibling

May not necessarily be

a gift as strong

as that

in present living

And to trust that the love

of being a mom

translates

to a son

In the investments of quality time

and play

and its abundance

that goes beyond
