Brothers

in another time

Together in another place

Where once the storm has passed

And the lightning’s

lit the sky

The rainbow comes

As a reminder

of the colours

of this life

And that despite

the loss and tribulations

There is a strength

from deep within

That like a gentle song

we sing

Can help us to begin

To find new meaning

In our days

And new connections

In the ways

We honour those

Who’ve passed away

for peace
