These objects were made by Shira Leuchter and Michaela Washburn as part of the live art encounter Lost Together. Each piece was made in response to an audience-participant’s story of something they lost (an object, a person, a relationship, a dream - anything, really!). Sometimes Shira and Michaela recreated the object and sometimes they made something to honour a loss in another way. Each piece was made in around 10-15 minutes after hearing the participant’s story for the first time. Participants were invited to name their own object.
These objects were created as part of previous iterations of the piece, at SummerWorks Festival (2018), Progress Festival (2019) and In the Soil Festival (2019).
