Nobody’s invulnerable

We all have a role to play

We all need one another

Upon this walk

on this short stay

Each one of us

a visitor

so temporary

in measure

And some never wake to realize

this life’s a gift

a moment to treasure

Until our physical body

is altered

and forced to change

What once we knew of ourselves

Must evolve

and cannot remain

Like a seashell weathered

on many a shore

Our story

is never complete

Until we embrace

how fragile we are

In our beautiful

vulnerability
