Not Cracked But Whole, May 2021
Sometimes trust
and intuition
can be a menacing duality
Colliding compasses
of reason
with the ghosts within our memories
Where on one hand
we can see
the beauty and sweetness
in which we believed
and on the other
is the facade
where we are baffled
we were deceived
A type
of cognitive dissonance
where existing
at the same time
is a chord
that’s out of tune
And a beautiful melody
sublime
But in returning to
the heart
that’s whole
the heart
that is not cracked
May the ceremony
of sharing
Invite a new trust
to come back
